Cobhams and davido too? What a year in the industry

The entertainment industry continues to
serve it’s scene with unpredictable, eye-
opening events, either on a cool or
temperate wave. The latest of such on a
refreshing wave is between ace
producer, Cobhams Asuquo and singer
Davido.
Could it be an unanticipated madness
when a musical genius like Cobhams well
known for making inspirational, classic/
soul songs wakes up in the wee hour of
the day to create a song for the all time
club bang hit maker just like that? It
might be hard to imagine what inspired
the producer but of course Davido’s
unique energy is sure to be one of it.
Cobhams tweeted that he woke up and
created a song for Davido which is going
to be mad and the born ready HKN
singer acknowledged with ‘I’m ready
boss’.
“It’s official then! It’s going to be
Maaaaad! I’m in town next week. Will
holler. Bless! ” Cobhams further tweeted.

Cobhams is signed to Sony ATV( Sony
Publishing) as a song writer while
Davido recently inked a record deal with
Sony Entertainment.

"The pathological liar " wike calls dakuku

Rivers state governor, Nyesom Wike,
has reacted to the allegation leveled
against him by APC candidate in the
April 14th 2015 governorship election
in the state, Dakuku Peterside, that he
compromised the Supreme Court
judges with the help of a former
governor of the state, Peter Odili and
his wife Justice Mary Odili, to make
the January 27th ruling on the state
governorship election to favor him.
Wike reacted in a statement released
yesterday February 9th.
“The late foremost Nationalist Dr.
Nnamdi Azikiwe is noted to have
warned that if you do not answer false
allegations made against you by your
opponents, those allegations soon gain
currency and belief.
It is with this admonition in mind that
we are constrained to reply to the
childish and infantile gibberish ranted
today in the guise of a press
conference by the defeated APC
gubernatorial candidate in Rivers
State, Dr. Dakuku Adol Peterside.
Dakuku Peterside and his party’s true
reaction to the Supreme Court victory
was given during the former’s visit of
incitement against Rivers people and
the peoples of the Niger Delta to Chief
John Odigie Oyegun, the APC
chairman. At that meeting in which
Dakuku Peterside was inciting the
president and the people of Nigeria
against the peoples of the Niger Delta
and the government and people of
Rivers state, Chief John Odigie
Oyegun. Chief Onyegun then
proceeded to announce that the
Supreme Court would be probed for
doing their work simply because
verdict was not given in favour of Dr.
Dakuku Peterside. “Dr. Dakuku
Peterside and his APC have not
accepted the Supreme Court verdict
and would do anything to destroy the
Supreme Court and the integrity of its
Justices for daring to uphold existing
jurisprudence. The pathological liar
Dr. Dakuku Adol Peterside claimed
that: as early as 9 am on Wednesday
January 27, 2016 Wike Supporters
were already in jubilation; there were
comments in social media three weeks
before the verdict on Wike’s victory;
the respected Odilis’ were used to
procure the verdict of the Supreme
Court. These allegations are scornful,
demented and laughable.”the

Beware! New Study Says Paracetamol Can Cause Asthma In Unborn Babies

Researchers in the United Kingdom
and Norway have warned pregnant
women against the danger inherent in
consumption of paracetamol during
pregnancy, stating that the drug
greatly increases the unborn baby’s
risk of having asthma. Asthma is a
respiratory condition marked by
attacks of spasm in the bronchi of the
lungs, causing difficulty in breathing.
It is usually connected to allergic
reaction or other forms of
hypersensitivity.
According to a study published in the
International Journal of Epidemiology,
researchers found a consistent link
between children who had asthma at
three years of age and mothers who
said they took paracetamol during
pregnancy. The study, the largest of its
kind, was conducted on 114,500
children.

children had the disease at the age of
three, while 5.1 percent had it at the
age of seven. The research found that
the risk was increased if an expectant
mum took paracetamol for more than
one complaint.“Uncovering potential
adverse effects is of public health
importance, as paracetamol is the
most commonly used painkiller among
pregnant women and infants,” Dr
Maria Magnus, a Bristol University
researcher and co-author of the study,
said. Earlier studies have established a
link between paracetamol use and
